Jeff Thompson

Jeff was born in Great Gonerby where his family can be traced back to 1560. In 1971, after a successful career as a farmer, Jeff joined the district council as a representative for Great Gonerby, and was their representative up until 2015. His greatest achievement was heading up the Meres Leisure Project.

He is currently heavily involved with Great Gonerby's new memorial hall & associated sports facilities. As well as all this Jeff has been an active parish councillor since 1970.
