At the age of 10 I got involved with my local wheelchair basketball club and that’s where my love of sport started! I have continued to play for the Jaguars WBC until the present day, the sport has allowed me to travel the country playing both for my club and the East Midlands squad. I decided to gain my coaching qualifications to help pass my love of sport onto other people by teaching them new sports.
My love for being active led me to complete my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award with the Air Training Corps, becoming the first disabled group to complete Gold DofE in the Corps. I then attended Grantham College where I completed an Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development.
