I've been in the sports industry virtually all my life. After leaving school at 16 I played football for Luton Town Football Club and when released furthered my education which saw me gaining a BA hons degree in Leisure Studies.

Whilst at university I coached for a number of sports companies and taught PE lessons in primary schools for Peterborough City Council. I managed to secure a full time job in sports development at Peterborough City Council shortly after gaining my degree. I enjoyed over nine years with the Council with roles that included managing the Sports Development Team and a Portfolio Manager overseeing a large capital sports facility development across the city.

In 2005 I became the Partnership Development Manager for South West Lincolnshire School Sports Partnership. I set up and established the Partnership that served 45 schools across Stamford, Grantham and surrounding villages. The Partnership enjoyed many successful years supporting schools develop PE and School Sport gaining national recognition for a number of its initiatives.

In 2011 I established inspire+, one of the first sports charities in the country that is offering support to schools in PE, Sport and Leadership on a local basis.
