Darren Joint

I am an engineer trained in the automotive manufacturing and product development world of Ford Motor Company. This corporate experience has helped me develop strong people, technical, and commercial skills across lean manufacturing, product design, business development, and leadership roles. I’m passionate about UK manufacturing as a force for good, and I serve as Chair of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP Manufacturing Board and the Greater Lincolnshire Engineering and Manufacturing (GLEAM) Network.

In my role as Chair of the board of trustees at inspire+, I bring my business perspective and leadership to the table. As an active participant in CrossFit, triathlons, and other endurance sports, I have directly benefited from the physical challenges and mental health benefits of an active lifestyle. I hope to share these insights and contribute to the positive impact inspire+ has on young people’s lives, making this work part of my lasting legacy.
