How local businesses can support their community: Jensen Group Solutions and inspire+
On Saturday 6 June, colleagues from Jensen Group Solutions will swap the office for the Peak District as they take on a charity walk in support of inspire+.
This will be the third time they’ve fundraised for us and, this time, a group of the inspire+ team will be joining them on the walk.
The team will take on an 8–10 mile route across Kinder Scout, with a goal of raising £2,500 to support the development of the inspire+ Community Hub.
We’ll be sharing updates from the day as it happens, so if you’d like to follow along, head over to our Instagram or Facebook channels.
How their support will make a difference
The money raised through Jensen’s efforts will support the ongoing development of our Community Hub and the opportunities it will provide for young people.
The Hub will provide a safe space with trusted adults for vulnerable young people, building on the holiday provision we already deliver. It will give young people somewhere consistent to go, be active, and feel part of a supportive environment.
Support like this helps us move those plans forward in a real, practical way.
A partnership that creates lasting impact
We’re incredibly grateful for the way Jensen Group Solutions have continued to support inspire+, from hosting a charity football tournament to taking on fundraising challenges like climbing Mount Snowdon, their team continues to show up and go the extra mile. For many organisations, a partnership like this also offers an opportunity to bring teams together, support staff wellbeing and align with something positive locally.
To date, Jensen have raised £3,422 to support inspire+, helping fund holiday provision, events like the Mini Olympics and more.
“Supporting inspire+ means a great deal to us. We believe in supporting an organisation that creates real, positive change while also challenging ourselves to give something back. We’re excited to take on Kinder Scout together and hopefully raise even more awareness and funds along the way.”
Katy Stewart
Director at Jensen Group Solutions
But it’s not just about fundraising. Whether attending events, presenting donations in person, or taking on new challenges together, Jensen have continued to be part of the journey, not just the outcome.
How you can get involved
The Jensen Charity Walk is a great example of how businesses can support local young people in a way that feels meaningful for their teams and makes a clear difference in the community.
Support the walk, by donating via JustGiving and help us reach out £2,500 target.
For organisations interested in getting involved in what inspire+ does, we’re always open to a conversation about how your business could support local young people, whether through a challenge, sponsorship or a longer-term partnership. Take a look at our options for Corporate Partnership.
At inspire+, we work closely with our partners to make sure support is clear, purposeful and creates real opportunities for young people.
