Employ an Apprentice

Re-energise your workforce with an apprentice, a cost-effective way to add enthusiasm, support and capacity.

We offer a range of apprenticeships designed for people working in schools, education settings and sports organisations, with training tailored to both the apprentice and the needs of their employer.

Classroom support

Develop additional capacity within your school with apprenticeships tailored to classroom-based roles. From a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant, training can support areas including SEND, SEMH, Inclusion and EYFS.

PE, sport & physical activity

Build capacity across PE, school sport and physical activity. Our Level 2 Community Activator Coach, Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 4 Sports Coach pathways can support roles focused on getting children and young people more active.

With over £3.3 billion of unspent apprenticeship levy funds returned to the treasury, use it before you lose it!

Your school may already be contributing to the apprenticeship levy, but if it’s not being used, that funding is simply returned to the Treasury. Instead, it could be invested in recruiting and developing enthusiastic, high-quality support staff. Discover how apprenticeship funding works and how your school can make the levy work for you.

“The outcome of having an apprentice has been wide and includes: an extra pair of hands (at Breakfast Club, playground duty, hearing readers, during lessons outside of PE too). This is an additional member of staff and positive role model for a little over £5,000 of the school budget”
